The Canton Chamber of Commerce Main Street Association promotes and participates in the business, industrial, and educational development of Canton. It works to make Canton an attractive, safe, and preferred choice to live and work.
The majority of the membership is comprised of small businesses and individuals interested in prospering and creating a healthy environment in which to live and conduct business. The small town atmosphere and community pride has proven to be a motivating factor in getting businesses and individuals involved, and to volunteer their time and efforts toward a common goal.
Through the partnership created with the public and private sector, Canton has recaptured the feeling of "stepping back in time" while re-creating a Central Business district that is positioning Canton for its place in the twenty-first century.

The Canton Farmers Market, a project of the Canton Chamber Main Street Association, has a goal of improving the quality of life for residents of Canton and surrounding communitites by offereing them an opportunity to buy locally grown produce and to learn more about healthy food choices. The Market will open June 2 and operate each Saturday throughout the growing season from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Join us on the Historic Canton Courthouse Green for a unique experience!
