Healthcare Facility Expansion
Singing River Health System has opened a new medical clinic in Vancleave.
The 7,808 square foot facility replaces a smaller clinic and is designed to serve about 25,000 patients annually.
The expansion was made possible through state funding from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Restoration Fund.
Free Education Opportunities
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is expanding its tuition-free programs for eligible students. This initiative is funded by the BP Restore Act Grant.
The college offers 25 credit programs at no cost. These include courses in coding, commercial truck driving, cosmetology, and cybersecurity technology.
